The following are just a couple of examples of things that we have discovered for our clients when we were hired to do a liquidation:

We recently went on a call & were hired by Mike (Executor of his uncle's estate.) Mike's uncle lived in a somewhat dilapidated home, in inner Cleveland. Over the years he collected a few nice pieces of glass & pottery (Murano, Roseville, Majolica, etc.), and some miscellaneous antiques  ------------------- We suggested an auction to Mike and arranged to remove the contents to sell at one of our hall auctions.  When working at the house, in the upstairs attic closet we found a damaged Tiffany Studios lampshade ----------- after doing our necessary research, we decided the best way to get the most money for Mike would be an internet auction. We ran the auction as a 7 day auction, and made sure the timing was right -------------we sold the lamp for $73,000. ( This is including  the pieces & parts we had found ------ The lamp obviously fell & was broken at some point, however, most of the pieces appeared to have been saved.)

One more recent example:

A recent estate liquidation where we sold a pair of Majolica vases via internet auction for another client. Both of these vases did need repair, they sold for $10,000.

**NOTE:  What separates us from other Auction Houses & Auction Firms in selling these specialty items is that we will run a 7-10 day auction getting more viewers & bidders involved. Also ---------- We do NOT have a buyer's premium on our auctions, which means more money for you the seller.
